What does "organizational only" mean in practice?
It means we help you list, label, and organize what you already have — we do not interpret documents, advise on legal steps, suggest financial decisions, or act as a professional in any regulated field. Where formal guidance is needed, we point you toward the appropriate official sources or professionals.
Who typically uses Vellum's services?
Families who want to be well prepared — whether that is an older couple thinking about what their children would need to know, or adult children helping a parent bring their papers into order. We also work with individuals who simply want their own records clearly organized.
How long does each programme take?
The Document Inventory Walkthrough is typically a single session of two to three hours. The Planning-Ahead Conversations are spread across two or three meetings over a few weeks. The Household Archive Programme usually involves three to four visits over four to six weeks, depending on how much needs to be gathered and organized.
Do I need to prepare anything before we meet?
No. Part of what the first session does is help you understand what you have. You do not need documents in any particular order beforehand — we begin from wherever things currently are.
Are the sessions held at our home or at your office?
Most families prefer to work at home where the documents already are. We are also happy to meet at our Tha Phae Road office for initial conversations or where that is more convenient.
How is my personal information handled?
With care and discretion. We do not retain copies of your personal documents. Any information shared with us for organizational purposes stays within our working relationship and is not passed on. Our full privacy policy is available on this site.
